of Luna-Sol. This jewelry brand is celebrating the fun of giving gifts that tell a special and personal story.
At Luna-Sol we want people to feel special, and memorize a dream or set an intention each time they wear a piece from Luna-Sol. By collecting sustainable materials and listening to personal wishes, we create handmade personalizable jewelry that tells your uninque jewelry story.
SUSTAINABLE CRAFTMENSHIP
Luna-Sol started out of a passion for precious materials and smithing. Working on a design feels like mediation to me. Coming from a family of artists I've learned to create and design at a young age. Following this passion I studied Creative Business after which I completed a Goldsmith Course at de Vakschool Edelsmeden in Amsterdam.
At Luna-Sol we focus on craft and durability. The Materials used are sterling silver, 3 micron 14k goldplated on silver and 14K solid gold. We use a wide range of gemstones, pearls and corals. All materials are ethically sourced,
fair- trade, and sustainability is our priority. Designing, producing, and even goldplating, 90% of our items in our small atelier in Amsterdam means being able to minimize our carbon footprint. We are a zero waste jewelry brand.
I take my inpiration from natures treasures and ancient stories.
From childhood I had a fascination for gemstones and their meaning.
ECCENTRIC STATEMENT PIECES
Most of the materials we use come from recycled old jewelry. Our gemstones are ethically sourced and carry a certified ICA trademark. Designing, producing and even gold plating all of our items in our Amsterdam atelier, means being able to minimize our carbon footprint.
At Luna-Sol we believe that the magical works of gemstones have everything to do with setting intentions. Every time you put on your piece of jewelry, you set your intention for that special moment. We see jewels as a reminder to focus on your dreams. From the rising of the sun until the setting of the moon. Because every piece of jewelry tells a special story.
